Monday Night Drop In

Free. 45 Minutes. No Experience Needed Every Monday from July 20th to August 24th, MF Improv opens its doors at 3 Vision Drive in Natick at the Holly Chin Natick Academy of the Performing Arts. No audition, no commitment, no prior experience required. In this 45 minute drop in you'll work through foundational games and exercises that form the foundation of improv comedy: listening, reacting, building community with others interested in learning more about the art form. Introduction to Improv

$40 per class. No Experience Necessary Ready to try improv? MF Improv's Introduction to Improv series runs every Monday from July 20th through August 10th at the Holly Chin Natick Academy of Performing Arts--and you can join for one class or all four! Each class is 90 minutes and focuses on a different core skill: July 20th: Yes, And: The foundational agreement that makes Improv Work July 27th: Listening and Reacting: Stop planning. Start Hearing August 3rd: Line Games: Fast, fun, and built for first timers August 10th: Rhyming and Rhythm Games: Play with language, timing, and the people in the room

Level 1 Improv

6 Weeks. $350. No Experience Necessary Over six weeks you'll build the foundational skills that make improv work -- you'll practice scene initiation, yes and, character development, listening, and the art of making your scene partners look like rock star geniuses robot scientists. We've designed this course to give you enough time to internalize each skill before moving on to the next one. By the end of six weeks, you won't just know what "Yes, And" means, you'll feel it.
